Mike is responsible for the overall management and direction of The Park, Team Detroit's design broadcast and production studio. He began his journey in the advertising biz armed with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Michigan State University and a strong desire to integrate design in to the traditional agency environment. In 2001 Mike joined JWT to transform their in-house desktop studio into The Park, a full-service, design, retouching and production studio. Mission: accomplished. And then some. With the inception of Team Detroit, The Park has more than doubled in size and Mike continues to add relevant capabilities that make his team indispensable.
After serving several years on the Executive Board of AIGA Detroit, the Professional Association for Design, Mike remains an active member working on building and nurturing a community of creative talent within thegreater metro-Detroit area.
Mike shares a love of hockey, music, food and the outdoors with his wife and two children. Rumor has it that his kids still have a hard time believing that their Dad actually works in a place called The Park.
